This summer is going to prove to be an experimental one when it comes to photography.  Finally, after pretty much exhausting all of my camera's capabilities, I've decided to buy some fun add ons -- a super wide angle lens, UV filter, and a (drum roll, plz) IF filter.

eBay is a wonderful place, lol.

I absolutely cannot wait to see what kinds of photos I can turn out with all these new tools - and I even bought a remote for the camera so I can do more time lapse without losing 49 out of 50 shots due to me shaking the camera when pressing the shutter button, even when it's on a tripod.

Now I have to find a great camera bag that will hold all my 'cessories .

My best friend and I are going to Texas to visit our other best friend in August, and she lives in a striking part of the state... I'm literally jittery thinking of all the cool shots that will be just waiting for me down there, lol.  North Dakota doesn't have much in the way of "different" scenes, or maybe I'm just so used to what this place looks like that I can't see the potential.  Either way, a new place sounds fun - and just maybe when I come back I'll be able to look at good ol' ND with new eyes (hopefully through the cam lens, lol).

So I'm ticking down the days, checking the PO Box often, and am looking forward to screwing on all the brand new goodies... and then running out into the fields to experiment!

Maybe now I can take some of the same types of pics I've been drooling over in other's galleries here on dA!

Woot, eh?

Anyone have any other suggestions for me to add onto my Canon Digital Rebel?  Any advice would be muchly appreciated .
